We already know that how it is possible to connect to a proxy server to bypass the local filtering mechanism and hide your identity on the internet. Proxy servers are great but if you are really paranoid about you revealing your identity and want to add multiple layers of security and anonymity to your online presence, there is a very interesting technique known as proxy bouncing. Proxy Bouncing is the art of connecting to multiple proxy servers one after other to form a proxy chain. Each proxy server in a proxy chain provides additional security and anonymity to the user, making it harder for the user to be traced back. Once the Proxy chain has been established, all data communications that the user carries out can be configured to pass through it. This technique of Proxy bouncing can not only be used to bypass blocking mechanism implemented by the network administrator, but can also be used to remain completely anonymous and secure on the internet. SoftChain is a very useful tool that allows user to establish a chain of proxy servers on the internet. Most applications can be configured to connect to the proxy chain created by SocksChain for anonymous secure communication on the internet. You can download it from here:-
http://ufasoft.com/socks
It will look like this...
As soon as you start SocksChain, it will connect to its directory server to download a list of available proxy servers. It will then open Port 1081 on the local system and will listen for any outgoing connections. Let us assume that you want to use Google Chrome to connect to the internet after performing proxy bouncing via SocksChain. To do that you need to start Google Chrome and change the Proxy settings such that it will connect to the SocksChain Proxy on he location system 127.0.0.1 on Port 1081. Similarly you can configure other applications on your computer to connect to the internet through SocksChain by changing the proxy settings. It will look like this...
I have configured both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox to connect to the SocksChain on port 1081 and as soon as I start the browsers, the SocksChain software starts creating the proxy chain. It will look like this...
To check whether the Proxy chain has been established or not we can connect to the website http://www.whatismyipaddress.com
If all goes well you will be able to change your ip address & browse the internet safely. Like & Comment please. If you have any queries please ask it into comments.
Thank you
